True Lift Services is a small business specialising in most aspects of the lifting industry with 25 years experience in testing, repairing, splicing, socketing, installing ropes, selling and advising clients on the correct equip required for the task at hand. Chris Lotheringen the owner is a registered LMI who will inspect and repair lifting equipment (if spares are available), customer service and satisfaction is our primary concern and without sacrificing quality we strive to ensure an expeditious turnover time so lack of equipment does not hold back production.We repair all makes of hand powered lifting devices, HPLD, electric hoists chain or rope and hydraulic jacks.
On site testing can be done with weights if they are available or with a portable test stand brought to site to perform a dynamic brake and lift test as required by SANS 500 on Chain and Lever blocks. All testing and certifications are required ( quarterly / 6 monthly / annually) as stated in the OHS 85 of 93 regulation 18 and we strive to ensure that all requirements are met as per regulation. All items passed will receive a certificate that is within full compliance of the OHS act.
